Quilted Indian Block Prints

We met a wonderful local artisan whose family business back in India is creating unbelievable traditional block prints. We immediately fell in love with the colours and prints (and quilting! hellooooo Flora!) and brought in three bright and cozy prints. 

This sweet, sweet sandwich of cotton backing, cotton batting, and cotton printed layer is substantial but light and the perfect fabric to make an amazing Blackbird Fabrics Bestie Bag, our own pattern - the Flora jacket (or the up-and-coming Flora Jr), the Syd Graham Ruby Vest or the Neighbourhood Patterns Block Party Pants.

Width: 42” (note this fabric is narrower than anything we usually carry so please double check your pattern for fabric quantities - if using for an adult Flora jacket - all sizes of bodice XS-5X will fit in the 42”. The tricky part arises with the sleeve width for XL - 5X so if making those sizes, add .5y more than the stated fabric needs.)  

For your first wash - wash with like colours on cold with a handful of salt to set the dyes and keep them bright and beautiful!

This price is per half yard. If you would like one yard please add 2 to your cart, if you would like two yards, add 4 to your cart, etc. Your fabric will always come as continuous cuts unless otherwise specified.
