The Kids Simple Pants Sewing Pattern

The Kids Simple Pants are a high waisted, wide leg style with options for cropped or ankle length and designed for knit fabrics. No side seams make this a super fast sew. If you feel like a more structured and cozy option, we suggest cotton french terry. For a more flowy look, bamboo jersey is lovely. Or, why not try waffle fabric for some texture! Lots of options here.

For fabric, we recommend cotton/lycra jersey, french terry or waffle.

Pattern Format: PDF with layered letter, A0 and Projector files

To make the Simple Pants, you'll need:

• Fabric: Cotton, Bamboo or Tencel French Terry/Jersey or waffle. Any stretch knit fabric will do!

• Notions: 1.5” Elastic 

• Tools: Scissors, rotary cutter/mat, clips or pins and an iron
