Come spend an evening sewing with us and make your very own Cross-Back Apron! This simple, comfortable apron slips right over your head with straps that cross at the back — no ties, buttons or complicated closures required.

It’s the perfect apron for cooking, baking, gardening, crafting, sewing, pottery... basically anything that might get a little messy.

This is a fun, approachable project for beginner sewists and a great way to practice your sewing skills while making something you’ll actually use.

In this workshop, you’ll learn:

• How to cut and prepare your fabric
• How to construct the apron step-by-step
• Sewing and finishing curved edges
• Creating and attaching the cross-back straps
• Hemming and finishing techniques
• Tips and tricks for getting a clean, polished finish

Your workshop includes:

• Fabric for your Cross-Back Apron
• All required notions and supplies
• 3 hours of hands-on instruction
• Use of a sewing machine and studio equipment
• Access to all the tools you’ll need
• Plenty of guidance, troubleshooting and sewing support
• A finished Cross-Back Apron to take home!

Skill Level

Beginner Friendly

Basic sewing machine knowledge is helpful, but you definitely don’t need to be an expert. We’ll walk you through the project step-by-step and help you along the way.

All you need to bring is yourself and a water bottle. We’ll take care of the fabric, machines, tools and know-how.

Come sew with us, hang out with fellow makers, and leave with a very cute apron that you made yourself.
