We understand that plans can change! To help us keep classes and studio time running smoothly, please review our cancellation policy below.
Open Studio
- Cancellations made 24 hours or more before your booking will receive a full refund or may be rescheduled.
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before your booking are non-refundable.
- If you're unable to attend, you're welcome to send someone else in your place. Please let us know their name before the session.
Workshops & Classes
- Cancellations made 7 days or more before the workshop will receive a full refund.
- Cancellations made 3–6 days before the workshop will receive store credit for the workshop fee.
- Cancellations made less than 72 hours before the workshop are non-refundable, as supplies have been prepared and your spot has been reserved.
- If you're unable to attend, you may transfer your registration to another person. Please contact us in advance so we can update the attendee information.
If Brightside Fabric Co needs to cancel or reschedule a class due to unforeseen circumstances or low enrollment, you'll be offered the choice of a full refund or a transfer to another session.

It’s time to make some seriously good jammies.
There’s nothing better than a cozy pair of pajama pants, especially when you get to pick the fabric and make them yourself. Whether you’re planning matching family PJs or just want an excuse to sew with some fun fabric, this workshop is the perfect way to get into the sewing spirit.
This is a hands-on garment sewing workshop where we’ll walk you through making your own pajama pants step-by-step. You’ll learn new techniques, get plenty of one-on-one help, and hopefully have a few laughs along the way.
What we’ll cover:
Choosing your size and understanding the pattern
Cutting and preparing your fabric
Constructing your pajama pants step-by-step
Sewing an elastic waistband
Hemming and finishing details
Tips for working with flannel and achieving a polished finish
Troubleshooting and garment-sewing techniques you can use for future projects
Your workshop includes:
Fabric for your pajama pants
The Wardrobe by Me Unisex pajama pants sewing pattern
Hands-on instruction and plenty of one-on-one help
Use of a sewing machine and studio equipment
Access to all the tools you’ll need
Lots of guidance, troubleshooting and sewing support
No previous pants-making experience required. If you can use a sewing machine and are ready to give garment sewing a go, we’ll help you take it from festive flannel to your new favourite pair of PJs.
All you need to bring is yourself and a water bottle. We’ll take care of the fabric, pattern, machines, tools and know-how.
Come spend some time sewing with us, hang out with fellow makers, and leave with a handmade pair of pajama pants that are ready for cozy nights, bright and early mornings, and maybe even matching family photos.
