We understand that plans can change! To help us keep classes and studio time running smoothly, please review our cancellation policy below.
Open Studio
- Cancellations made 24 hours or more before your booking will receive a full refund or may be rescheduled.
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before your booking are non-refundable.
- If you're unable to attend, you're welcome to send someone else in your place. Please let us know their name before the session.
Workshops & Classes
- Cancellations made 7 days or more before the workshop will receive a full refund.
- Cancellations made 3–6 days before the workshop will receive store credit for the workshop fee.
- Cancellations made less than 72 hours before the workshop are non-refundable, as supplies have been prepared and your spot has been reserved.
- If you're unable to attend, you may transfer your registration to another person. Please contact us in advance so we can update the attendee information.
If Brightside Fabric Co needs to cancel or reschedule a class due to unforeseen circumstances or low enrollment, you'll be offered the choice of a full refund or a transfer to another session.
Teen Summer Sewing Camp (Ages 13-18) - Back To School ‘Fit
August 31-Sept 4 | 9:00 AM–2:00 PM
Looking for a creative and confidence-building way to spend the summer? Our Teen Summer Sewing Camp is designed for teens who already know the basics of using a sewing machine and are ready to build their skills while creating projects they'll be proud to wear and use.
Over five fun-filled days, campers will learn new sewing techniques, improve their construction skills, and complete a selection of garments and accessories in a welcoming, creative studio environment.
What's Included
- ✔ Five days of guided instruction (Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–2:00 PM)
- ✔ All fabric, patterns, and notions
- ✔ Use of studio tools and equipment
- ✔ Small class sizes with plenty of individual instruction
- ✔ Multiple finished projects to take home
Skill Level
This camp is intended for teens with previous sewing machine experience. Participants should be comfortable threading a sewing machine (with occasional assistance), sewing straight seams, and using basic sewing tools.
Camp Highlights
- Learn new sewing techniques and garment construction skills
- Build confidence reading and following sewing patterns
- Create wearable clothing and fun accessories

- Enjoy a creative, supportive studio environment
What to Bring
- Lunch and water bottle (or step out to enjoy the cafes, fast food, or coffee shops in our community)
- Closed-toe shoes
- Any personal sewing tools you'd like to use (optional).

Space is limited to ensure every camper receives plenty of one-on-one instruction.

Camp Duration: Monday–Friday
Time: 9:00 AM–2:00 PM with 45 minutes for lunch.
Experience Required: Basic sewing machine experience
