We understand that plans can change! To help us keep classes and studio time running smoothly, please review our cancellation policy below.
Open Studio
- Cancellations made 24 hours or more before your booking will receive a full refund or may be rescheduled.
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before your booking are non-refundable.
- If you're unable to attend, you're welcome to send someone else in your place. Please let us know their name before the session.
Workshops & Classes
- Cancellations made 7 days or more before the workshop will receive a full refund.
- Cancellations made 3–6 days before the workshop will receive store credit for the workshop fee.
- Cancellations made less than 72 hours before the workshop are non-refundable, as supplies have been prepared and your spot has been reserved.
- If you're unable to attend, you may transfer your registration to another person. Please contact us in advance so we can update the attendee information.
If Brightside Fabric Co needs to cancel or reschedule a class due to unforeseen circumstances or low enrollment, you'll be offered the choice of a full refund or a transfer to another session.

Join us for two days of garment sewing as we make the Donny Shirt by Friday Pattern Company! This relaxed, modern shirt is a fun and wearable addition to your wardrobe, with an easygoing fit that makes it perfect for everyday wear. Whether you're looking to build your sewing skills or simply spend a fun evening making alongside other sewists, this workshop will guide you through each step of the process.
Our instructor will cover:

This workshop is ideal for confident beginners and intermediate sewists who are comfortable using a sewing machine and have completed a few simple garments.
